He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Barney and Dorothy Barney (Hudson); his stepdaughters, Kathy and Jackie; and his sister-in-law Patsy Mink Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his stepsons, John Rhoden (Darla) and Ron Rhoden (Sherrie); his grandchildren, Chera of Rhonda, Jace, Rita, Jackie, Josh, Jerod, Shane and Katie; his sister Carol Ann; and his nieces and nephews, Gina, Donna, Eddie Bennett and John Bennett.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Ward Rhoden Scholarship Fund.
