He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Kessel and Helen V. Kessel; his stepmother Mary Kordon Kessel; and his sister Leona Ewoniuk Obenauer. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kessel; his children, Frank (Susan), James (KaTrina) and Keri (Jose); his grandchildren, Sean, Ethan, Sophia, Malia, Kathryn, Mason and Shelby; and his siblings, Greg Kessel (Stacey), Gordon Kessel (Lisa) and Bernice Santiago (Gary).
