It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Wendy Ballou (Prairie City, Oregon), born in John Day, Oregon, who passed away at the age of 43, on February 6, 2024. She was predeceased by: her father James T. Sproul; and her husband Nick Ballou. She is survived by: her mother Carlyn Jo Sproul (Sproul); her children, Andrew Ballou, Chance Ballou, Tekya Ballou, Dakota Ballou and Caden Ballou; and her stepfather Doug Waters. She is also survived by three sisters, two brothers, a stepsister, nine nieces and nephews, one great niece and great nephew, as well as countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up for Wendy's children, Caden and Dakota Ballou. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wendy Sproul Ballou Memorial Fund set up under Carlyn Jo Waters account at the Old West Federal Credit Union.
