He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph O'Hara and Mary O'Hara (Langwell); and his brother Michael O'Hara. He is survived by: his wife Ardell O'Hara of Prairie City; and his children, Kristen Ray, Shawn O'Hara of Salem, Oregon and Bill O'Hara of Vancouver. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
