He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Smith and Lydia Smith (Blomgren); his wife Elaine; his children, Dave (Karrie), Gayle (Dean), Todd (Deana), Eric (Jana), Wayne (Midge) and Michelle (Chris); and his siblings, Judy, Joyce and Dave (Barb). He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
