He was predeceased by: his spouse Nancy Johnson Bowdoin; his parent Gip Bowdoin; his former wife Helen Moulds Bowdoin; his son Alan Bowdoin; and his siblings, Charles Bowdoin, Lewis Glenn Bowdoin, Virginia Willard and Jack Bowdoin.

He is survived by: his parent Mabel Johnson Bowdoin; and his children, Ervin Bowdoin and Sherian Medley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to KershawHealth Hospice.
