It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Martin Epler of Portland, Oregon, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Epler and Helen Epler; his siblings, Joseph, Charlie Epler and Doris O'Hara; and his son Brian Epler.
He is survived by: his sister Maryanne Dougherty; his children, Timothy, Samantha Epler, Kyle, Renae Epler, Kimberly and Stacy Wynn; his grandchildren, Emily Epler, Chelsea, George Kapetanopoulos, Devin, Brittany Epler, Justin Epler, Sarah Epler, Andrew Epler, Joseph Epler, Eric Rigsbee, Kaitlyn Epler, Madeira Wynn, Marek Wynn and Marius Wynn; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Cooper, Cameron, Kai, Willow, Amelia, Summer and Dominic.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to your local Humane Society or the South Pacific County Humane Society (Long Beach Washington), honoring Walt's love for animals.
