Violet Lillian Schildan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025, at the age of 101, Violet Lillian Schildan in Portland, Oregon, born in Carlos, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Violet Lillian is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Violet Lillian's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brede and Ulinka Brede (Kuehl); and her spouse Russell Schildan. She is survived by: her children, Susan, Donald, Judith, Rodney and Patricia; and her stepchildren, Barbara and Russell, Jr.. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name to a charity of choice would be appreciated by Violet's family.
