We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2024, at the age of 102, Vendla Zollinger Nilson of Portland, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Stirland Nilson (Nilson); her son-in-law Alvin Hiatt; her grandchildren, Samuel Nilson and Melia McVay; and her parents, Joseph Hyrum Zollinger and Laura Aikele Zollinger.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce (Janice), Larry (Jenny), Kristy (Alvin), Susan (Craig), Rex (Torri), Kym (Ann), Glendon (Rae Ann), Laurie (Dan) and Todd (Jill); and her great grandchild Maddie Joi. She is also survived by 130 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
