She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schmidlin and Pauline Schmidlin; her husband Howard Seal; and her siblings, John Schmidlin and Frances Keagbine.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Seal of Battle Ground, WA and Rebecca Seal of Pittsburgh, PA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in her honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
