It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shane Scott Battenfeld in Portland, Oregon, born in Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Scott Battenfeld; his grandfathers, Russell Battenfeld and Eugene Hart; and his uncle Dan Battenfeld. He is survived by: his mother Kim Hart Calcagno (Al); his daughter Lylah; his sister Katie Powell (Anthony); his stepmother Deb Battenfeld (Bill Fette); his stepbrothers, Jacob Lynch (Paula), Jason Lynch (Sara), Josh Lynch (Amanda Rahe) and Jonny Lynch (Jessica Loeffler); and his grandmothers, Myra Battenfeld and Gloria Hart. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended relatives.
