He is survived by: his wife Betty Payne; his children, Robert, Ellen, Ric, Sara, Lisa and Peter; his grandson David Kaner (Brennan O'Rear); and his children, Jolie Kaner, Jordan Edelson, Fara Kaner, Rhody Kaner (Jake Palanker), Zoe Edelson and Gilon Kaner.
