With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Kluge (Portland, Oregon), who passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Elizabeth; her son-in-law Brian Dostal; her grandchildren, Eve Elizabeth, Isaiah Xavier, Samuel Frantisek, Solomon Sebastian and Rebekah Kateri; her son Daniel Kluge; and her brother Daniel Shearer.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Hustad Funeral Home (7232 N Richmond Ave, Portland, OR 97203). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Birgitta Catholic Church (11820 NW St Helens Rd, Portland, OR 97231). A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Cemetery.
In her 50s she had surgery for breast cancer and she suffered with Parkinson's for the last 19 years of her life.
