He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Lee Parker and Willie Roy Maxie; his stepmother Freddie Mae Maxie; his uncle Richard Maxie; his siblings, Sarah Cole and Athren Wilson; and his granddaughter Alexus Monet Maxie.
He is survived by: his children, Nikysha Lynette Maxie, Ebony Monique Berry (Sterling Berry), William Roy Maxie, Frederick Blake Maxie (Olivia Maxie) and Shelia Renee'Maxie; his grandchildren, Keyona Duree Maxie, Mason Mekhi Anderson, Saniah Rae Jenkins, Jermiah Condre Jenkins, Jaxon Sterling Berry, Mariyah Maye Maxie, Amilyah Rayn Maxie, Dakota Preston Berry, Kaliyah Olivia JoNaye Maxie, Frederick Blake Maxie Jr. and Kingston Blaze Maxie; his great grandchild Nakaiya Monet Rochelle Waters; his siblings, Billy Maxie (Lisa Maxie), Danny Wilson, Charlotte Martin and Timothy Maxie; and his godson Lindell Betts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
