He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Dana Oilar of Bethany and Glen Taennler of Bethany; his children-in-law, Helen and Matt McFarland of Seattle; his children, Heather and Michael Olander of Sherwood; his brother Alfred Taennler of Tigard; and his nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Kyle, Sydney, Natalie, Spencer, Catherine and Brent.
