He was predeceased by: his parents, Bacheu Singh and Rookmin Singh; his son Anil; and his brothers, Baba Steel-Dhanraj Bacheu and Harripersaud Bacheu.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; and his children, Devi, David, Sue Ann and Steve. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 6 siblings and countless cousins, nieces and nephews.
