He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Lee Saunders and Willie X. Hurst Sr.; and his brother William Saunders Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah J. Foster, Denise Hurst, Willie Hurst Jr. (Peggie), David C. Saunders, Keith Saunders and Jack Gaddis; his children, Karen Booze, Tiffany Saunders, DeVonte Carter (Mister), Michael Williams, Tamarra Harris and Mel Williams; and his close friend Susan Moen. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, friends.
