It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Cox in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Jean and Orester Tacker. She is survived by: her husband William Elam Sr.; her son Orester Tacker (Heather Cox) of Gresham, Oregon; her siblings, Margaret Ann Teasley (Gene Teasley) of Columbia City, Delmar Tacker (Karla Tacker) of Vancouver and Theresa Ruth Tacker of Portland, Oregon; and her children, Sharon Donaldson (Michael Donaldson), William Elam Jr. (Maria Elam) of Vancouver and Harry Elam Sr. (Joyce Elam) of Gladstone. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She had a soft heart for those in need and always donated to various charities.
