He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Smith and Martin Leo Smith; and his sister Doris. He is survived by: his siblings, Leo and Isabelle; his wife Jean Carneau; his daughter Patti; his son-in-law Randy; his grandchildren, Ashley (Greg) and Jeremy (Caitlin); and his great grandchildren, Riley Jean and Baby Boy.
