She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Carson; her husband Richard Lee Derby (Dick); and her siblings, Gordon Crawford, Norman Rice, Marge Adair, Wanda Anderson and Bette Lou Guyer.
She is survived by: her mother Martha Anne Carson; her sister Joan McClendon (Don); and her children, Heather Derby-Clark (Jim), John Derby (Darby), Richard Scott Derby and Camilla Dolan (Bill). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and dozens of other children who called her mom and grandmother.
