Cynthia Adams wrote a sympathy message

“Harriet, my words of condolence are sent by DM. But I want you to know that the legacy Kenny and you have shared will go beyond your personal monies. It will encompass the memories others will share of Kenny's impact on their lives; it will be remembrances of Kenny's community and political service; it will be expressed in the encouragement Kenny's shared with whoever crossed his path. Even though his purpose was completed when you both shared that last 'goodbye', his legacy will continue.”
