He is survived by: his wife Margie Carter (Brown); his children, Mark Carter (Andie), Laura Hoos (Rob) and Kreg Carter; his grandchildren, Abigail, Cora, Everett Hoos and Corin Thompson-Carter; his father Everett Dale Carter; and his sisters, Susan Sewell (Brian) of Rochester, Deborah Henke and Cheryl Wallace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
