He was predeceased by: his parents, John Connelly (Jack) and Blanche Connelly; and his stepson Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Connelly; his sisters, Peggy and Karen; his children, Justin (Sara), John Jr., Brandi and Heidi (Tim); and his grandchildren, Kyler, Elle, Myah, Zakk, Olivia and Evalyn.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Willamette National Cemetery (11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Everett Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV), continuing his lifelong mission of service and support for those most in need.
