He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gloria Hofmann and Alfred Hofmann; his siblings, Joyce, Jill, George and Jeff; his wife Judy Lakey; and his grandchildren, Travis, Jeremy Jr., Brittany, Dominik and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Amercian Diabetes Association of Portland.
