He was predeceased by: his parents, Jiro Nigo and Kiku Nigo (Itano). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kiyoko Yuasa; and his children, Gary of Portland, Jan Persaud (Joe) of Clackamas, Jackie Hasegawa (Jeff) of Hood River and Tina Nigo of Eugene. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
