He is survived by: his wife Harriett Diver Smith; his children, David Lee McCollum Jr., Jennifer Rae McLean and Joann Marie Nelson; his son-in-law Joshua Alan Nelson; his grandchildren, Delaney, Sara, Josie, Jocelyn, Jackson, Mason and Bryson; his siblings, Linda Smith of McCool Jct, NE, Diane Koenig of McMinneville, OR, Cindy Adkins of York, NE, Michael Smith of York, NE and Jeff Smith of North Platte, NE; and his aunts, Cleo Skinner of Central City, NE and Katherine Bardsley of Grants Pass, OR. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
