He was predeceased by: his parent Ngan Siu Chin; and his grandfather Chin On. He is survived by: his wife Jean Chin; his children, William Louie (Billy) and Betty Junell; his grandchildren, Matthew Louie and Stephanie Junell; his great grandchildren, Kaia Mattson, River Mattson, Monroe Burwitz, Benson Burwitz, Valentine Vo and Elison Le; and his sister Louise Louie.
