Edgar P. Swinney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar P. Swinney of Portland, Oregon, born in Caldwell, Idaho, who passed away on February 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Velda Swinney and Paul Swinney; and his siblings, Beverly Burns and Doree Marrical. He is survived by: his wife Joan Swinney; his children, Michele (Ken Cook), Michael Swinney (Megan Huston), Joy (Jim Broadhurst) and Scott Swinney; his grandchildren, Sidney Swinney, Katie Caldwell, Anna Huber, Scott Donovan, Quin Chantry, Mathew Broadhurst and Amanda Buster; and his siblings, Shirley Brown, Larry Swinney and Jim Swinney. He is also survived by his ten great-grandchildren.
Parkinson's was no match for his strength and charm. For those who would like to donate, his favorite charity is The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
