He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Raistakka and Hilia Raistakka (Kaukua-Olson); and his siblings, Doris, Wallace and Wesley.
He is survived by: his wife Anneli Väinämö; his sons, Mark and Erik; and his sister Sadie Lehr. He is also survived by daughter in law; two granddaughters.
