He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose and Eddie; and his brother Bart. He is survived by: his wife Judi (Kaplan).

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (scholarships and student support) or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
