He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Freddy, Carol May, Paul, Betty Prussman and Bruce Begalka; his aunts and uncles, Rick Mayes, Al Begalka and Jan Fitzgerald; his cousin Jimmy Fitzgerald; and his friends, Wes Schantz, Clifford "Ducky" Avuil and Justin McGuire.
He is survived by: his mother Pam May; his grandmother Bonnie Begalka; his siblings, Jeff Begalka, Beckey Begalka and Chad Nicola; his sisters-in-law, Adrianne DePauw-Begalka and Sofía García Reyes; and his nephews, Mackenzie Begalka, Carly Begalka, Parker DePauw, Paetyn Begalka and Jamison Begalka. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
