Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Daniel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert S. "Red" Lane and Doris E. Lane (Thompson). He is survived by: his wife Joann Lane (Rich) of Portland; his sister Alberta Tapp of Portland; his children, Daniel Jr. of Prineville, Steven of Tangent and Cynthia Fletcher of Houston, Texas; and his stepsons, Craig Loughridge of Mulino and Clark Loughridge of Costa Mesa, Calif.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Russellville Park West (20 SE 103rd Ave, Portland, OR 97216).
