He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Lee Purdy; his sister Janet R. Murray; and his parents, Lloyd Purdy and Grace Purdy. He is survived by: his children, Darrel L. Purdy, Annalee Purdy and Julia A. Thompson; and his siblings, John Purdy and Ann Walsh.
