She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Fowlkes and Minnie Averette; her brothers, James Fowlkes, Richard Fowlkes and Calvin Calhoun; her son Freddie Abraham Sr.; and her grandsons, Maurice Carter and Freddie Abraham Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Etheridge of Atlanta, GA, Sandra Carter, Pamela Abraham of Winston-Salem, NC, Stepanie Ferguson (Robert) of Austin Texas, Willie "Jamie" Huntington (Sarah) of Vancouver, WA, Margaret Abraham, Sheila Abraham and Kimberly Bryant of Portland, OR; and her siblings, Charles Fowlkes (Rena), Denson Fowlkes and Shirley Daniels of Portland, OR. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Rose City Cemetery and Funeral Home (5625 NE Fremont St, Portland, OR 97213). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
