It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Frances Sands (Portland, Oregon), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Phillips and Viola Phillips. She is survived by: her siblings, Melva, George Jr., Gordon and Susan; her children, Tom (Patty), Ron, Ken (Holly), Becky (Wayne) and Bonny (Will); her grandchildren, Lindsey Smith-Sands, Ashley Sands (Dimi), Connor Sands (Megan) and Kerry Sands; her great grandchildren, Ellie Mavalska, Lily Mavalska and Emma Sands; her sister Edith; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Miller, Rex Sands and Jeanetta Phillips; and her niece Karen Blades. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Willamette National Cemetery (11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086).
