It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Witbeck of Portland, Oregon, born in Cathlamet, Washington, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Einar Mickelson and Lenora Mickelson (Ebrecht). She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Kilness and Fred Mickelson; and her children, Rex Simpson and Deby Smith. She is also survived by Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
