It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Barbara Balko (Portland, Oregon), who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Balko (Bernie); and her parents, Agnes Zon (Wegrzeniak) and Michael Zon. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Blake (Beverly), Barbara Balko (Paul Tratnyek) and Louis Balko (Sang Ki); her grandchildren, Thomas, Erin, Kevin, Bernard, Joyce and Alice; and her sisters, Liz, Blanche, Mary, Julia and Rosie. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Anna's name to Store to Door of Oregon (her photo is featured on their website!), which helped her after her first hospitalization or the Washington County Library Foundation - Donna Selle Fund, which brings books to those that cannot get to a public library, which she also made use of.
