It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Melford Fetter (Philomath, Oregon), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Robert Scott Fetter. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Fetter; his daughter Diane Priewe (Rob Priewe) of Philomath; his grandchildren, Alison, Steve Hook, Ross Priewe, Chloe Knievel, Reid Priewe and Katie Lewis; his daughter-in-law Mika Fetter of Beaverton; his children, Kai Fetter and Nanami Fetter; his niece Pamela Kulinna of Chandler; his son Parker Kulinna; and his siblings, Dorothy Story of Benicia, California and Harold Fetter of Seneca, Montana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, William's family encourages a donation to KMHD, Portland's jazz radio station at Mt. Hood Community College (kmhd.org).
