She is survived by: her husband Harvey Stedman of Phoenix, AZ; her siblings, Stanley Bye (Sherry) of Worley, ID, Kristine Reding (Jerry) of Sun River, OR and Ronald Bye of Portland, OR.; and her cousins, Lori Bye (Lori Pieper), Melissa Reding of Seatac, WA, Debbie Johnson of Castle Rock, WA. and Hilary Ahmann (Marty) of Richland, WA..
Her family asks that friends wishing to make a donation in her memory do so to a charity of their choosing or to the Joann B. Stedman International Student Grant Fund which has been established in her name at Ohio University, Athens, OH where her career in international education began.
