She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Mort and Mabel Mort (Heckman); and her siblings, Betty Lacher, Tom and Fred Mort.

She is survived by : her children, Kathy Keefer of Otis and Keith Waters of McConnellsburg; and her sister Mary Vocke of Fannetsburg. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
