Scott Edward Lege Obituary

Scott E. Lege, 57, of Oregon City, OR, passed away on April 26, 2024. He was born on November 18, 1966, at Eglin AFB, Florida. Scott was a beloved husband to Tawnya, a loving dog dad to Lulu, and a cherished son to Ed & Shirly Shadow of Osceola, Indiana, and Ed & Nina Lege of Texas. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and close friends.

Scott had a distinguished military career serving for over 20 years. In the Navy he was a Fire Control Technician on submarines; then a few years later, he joined the Air Force Reserves as a crew chief, eventually becoming the First Sergeant for the 446th MOF. During this time, he also earned degrees in Human Resource Management and Aircraft Maintenance from the College of the Air Force.

After leaving active duty, Scott pursued a career in the controls industry, working for companies like Siemens Building Technologies, Honeywell, and Johnson Controls, Inc.; eventually becoming the facilities manager at Lewis & Clark College. His expertise led him to his final role at Strategic Energy Group, where he excelled as an energy coach, helping corporations save energy.

Scott was known for his diverse interests, including cowboy competition shooting, beer brewing, medieval recreation, science fiction conventions, and live-action role-playing, where his true personality could be set free. He had a sharp wit that kept people laughing wherever he went.
