She is survived by: her children, Wayne Rice and Sheila (Craig Pettit); her grandchildren, Lauren Verhaeghe and Michael Pettit (Erin); her great grandchild Kalem Verhaeghe; her former husband Robert Rice (Dennis Keel); and her sisters, Carole (Nate Thorpe), Judy (Gary Gleason) and Marcia Schmaus (David George).
