It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Hawley (Oregon City, Oregon), born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard David Hawley; and her parents, Daniel Profant and Mary Profant. She is survived by: her brother Daniel Milan Profant; her sister-in-law Vicki Profant (Mark Hawley) of Mission Viejo, CA; her nephew Robert Hawley; her great-niece Rebecca Hilton; her sons-in-law, James Hilton and Michael Van Orsow; her sisters-in-law, Marianne "Cookie" Shoemaker, Patricia "Pat" Ruble and Kay Chet of Lorain; her children, Mark, Bob, Becky and Jennifer; her close friends, Louise Hall, Marilyn Goad, Helen Hollenbeck, Jan Kluth, Judy Daudt, Sue Knoess, Andrea Krupka, Alicia Vargo and Vicki Profant; her sister-in-law Caryl Profant; and her friend Joan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial donations can be made in Joan's name to Trinity Lutheran Church, Oregon City.
