He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brey and Geraldine Brey (Baker). He is survived by: his wife Hannelore; his children, James Brey (Teresa), Ursela Jones (Jeree), John Brey (Janis) and David Brey; his grandchildren, Karissa Spilotro (Bob), Taylor Brey, Ryan Brey, Braden Brey (Danielle), David Wagerman, Darby Brey and Logan Brey; his great grandchildren, Peyton Brey, Haley Brey and Carmela Spilotro; and his brothers, Jack Brey (Linda) and Tony Brey (Terri). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A rosary will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St John the Apostle Catholic Church (417 Washington St, Oregon City, OR 97045-2220). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Willamette National Cemetery (11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086).
