He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Dalton and Billie Jo Dalton; his siblings, Betty and Billy (Betty Jean); and his daughter Donna Linn.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean; and his children, Phil, Mindy and Deanna. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, one great grandchild, 2 siblings, and 2 great Aunts.
He fought chronic illness after chronic illness and beat each one with his trademark grit and tenacity, even going into remission from Multiple Myeloma during COVID.
