She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ballance and Arthur Ballance Sr.; and her brothers, Errol Ballance of Kansas City and Jasper Ballance of Los Angeles. She is survived by: her children, Charles Birdwhistle of Nevada, Walter [Melissa] Doyle of North Carolina and Kathy Cassandra Doyle of Oregon; and her granddaughters, Ericka Ann Doyle and Emma Jo Newman [Jonathan]. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
