Angie (Wilma Angeline) Pond Obituary
Angie [Wilma Angeline Pond] passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 22nd, she was 90 years old. She had been residing in a lovely adult foster home in Oregon City. Angie was born in Winlaw BC on July 16, 1931 to Clover and Henry Clark.
The family moved to Nelson BC where she met and married Wallace Pond. The couple then moved to the states where Wallace pursued his teaching career, finally settling in West Linn, OR. Angie became a full time homemaker and mother to four.
She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always there for her children and being instrumental in helping with her grandkids. She loved traveling, especially visiting friends and family in her beloved home town of Nelson, BC. Angie was predeceased by her husband, Wallace, in 2011, after 61 years of marriage.
Angie is survived by her brother, Glenn Clark, of Nelson BC, her sons, Burton Pond [Oregon City] and Quin Pond [West Linn] and daughters, Terry Siegel [New Port Richey, FL] and Valerie Robinson [Bend]. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Trisia Gopie, Taryn Alverado, Thor Pond, Erica Crosta and Bryan Robinson and 11 great grandchildren with one more soon to arrive. Angie had a full, long life and now she can rest in peace.
She will be missed by all.. Funeral arrangements were made through Holman - Hankins - Bowker & Waud. At Angie's request there will no service but a small family gathering is being planned to celebrate her life.
