It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rufina Cantu of Ontario, Oregon, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Espiridion Cantu Sr. and Juanita Cantu; and her siblings, Dora Martinez, Anita Quintero and Espiridion Cantu Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Roy Cantu (Annis), Ana Lopez (Frank), Minerva Cantu and Delia Cantu; and her children, Guadalupe Mendoza, Anita Mendoza, Rachel Mendoza-Munoz, Martin Ruiz and Russell Prieto. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel (2543 SW 4th Ave, Ontario, OR 97914).
