He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Chris, Tracey, Mia and Kylie Nomura-Thai; his nephews, Shane (Laura) and Addison (Harper Tsubaki); his parents, Henry Tsubota and Peggy Tsubota; his sister Mary Ann Tsubota; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Nomura and Aaron Tsubaki.

He took care of his mother when she developed Alzheimer's Disease.
