She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Murata; her parents, Jiroichi Matsumoto and Tami Matsumoto; and her brothers, Toby, George and Harry.

She is survived by: her children, Edith, Mike Fehling (Cory), Warren, Shirley Murata, Russell and Mary Ann Murata (Tommy).
